Our Mission:
To make weekends and nights more fun.
To remove the hassle of 3D print projects.
To grow the 3D Printing community, so that more people love this incredible tool as much as we do!
And mostly, to provide projects that bring joy, surprise, and focused fun for all ages.
It *all* started with...chocolate.
Print Kits was born after our founder, Ellie Rose, started a different 3D printing venture: Cocoa Press.
She figured out how to PRINT CHOCOLATE (what?!), and well, that became about as popular as you'd expect.
(PS: We're still going strong, check us out at Cocoa Press >)
Meet Our Founder: Ellie Rose
Ellie is, fair to say, obsessed with 3D Printing (pretty much like our whole team...). It started for her with Cocoa Press, a project that she devoted many years and tons of stressful evenings to (at least chocolate is good for stress!).
With Print Kits, she saw a new possibility – a way to grow the community, and frankly, solve a problem SHE has faced: the sheer annoyance of trying to print a project you found online, by needing to hunt down materials and futz with the settings.
She said NO MORE, and founded Print Kits to make it all easier, more fun, and just a little mysterious.
Thanks, Elllie!
Meet Our Team
Still crazy after all these kits.

For over 15 years, Matt has been fascinated with 3D printing. And in that time, he's also become a believer in the power of community, supporting online and IRL spaces for 3D print creativity and idea sharing.
He came to Print Kits via Cocoa Press and is today a vital part of our operations. Those kits you love wouldn't be the kits you love without Matt!

Design + Inventory
Caleb is our project manager, and is also a major contributor to design, inventory, and support.
Before that, though, he was a writer for Hackaday, and later Make Magazine. Fair to say, Caleb is fascinated by creativity, and at Print Kits he is vital to what makes us a creative operation.
Caleb got into 3D printing in 2011, and also founded The Controller Project, a volunteer-run charity that provides parts to people all over the world with physical disabilities.
He believes in 3D printing as a force for good – what a natural fit for Print Kits!
