Magic 8 Ball Instructions
Magic 8 Ball

Magic 8 Ball

Ask a question and snatch the magic 8 ball off a table to get your answer. This updated take on the old classic, designed by Charlie Bess, is a refreshing high tech toy with a retro vibe.

Not only does it have a cool digital screen, you can log in and load custom messages so that your magic 8 ball can have whatever outlook you want!

For best results, we recommend printing the halves of the 8ball as domes (as opposed to bowls). We used variable layer height in the slider, but just choosing a finer detail will improve the curve at the top of the dome and the threads. You will need to enable supports.

Accessory

Just a simple fresnel magnifying card that can fit in your wallet or pocket. You'll be surprised how often you find yourself pulling it out to look at things though, just be careful in the sun, this thing can pack a real punch and burn something.
